Bollywood personality Arjun Kapoor was a victim of an Internet fraud about a week ago when a man impersonating his manager took him. The actor took to his Instagram story and wrote a message to his fans about a scammer who catfishes people with a fake account, hoping to help them get an opportunity to interact with the actor. The scammer relies on the actor’s name to make the targets provide more information about themselves or click on links with dangerous hidden content.
It doesn’t feel right for me to be quiet when I come across an IG profile with a fake post asking people to directly message them to be connected with me saying they are my manager. Please understand that these messages are fake and neither am I involved with sending them. I would never allow anyone to make that click or give out that information Through such means. But remember, these are scams so please don’t be a victim and be always cautious. If you are privileged to cross such messages, Please report the account immediately. I Wish You, Have a safe and merry Christmas.”
However, yesterday, the Sunday actor wished the Baby John team luck. Arjun took to his official Instagram account to share the poster for the Varun Dhawan-starrer and wished the team immense success. In the latest work front, Arjun Kapoor has recently done the role of a modern-day Raavan, Danger Lanka, in the ‘Singham Again’ by Rohit Shetty. This film also comprisson Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The fifth instalment in the Cop Universe, “Singham Again, ” directed by Rohit Shetty, was released on November 1.
