Indias business environment is undergoing changes due, to the Ai adoption technology as reported by LinkedIns latest study which found that 98 percent of corporate executives are prioritizing AI implementation by 2025.The growing reliance, on AI based solutions is influencing recruitment strategies by placing emphasis on a mix of technical expertise and interpersonal skills.
According to the report findings mentioned in the document, from Indias human resource experts and professionals indicate that than 60 percent perceive AI driven technologies as beneficial for enhancing recruitment processes by making them speedier and more effective. However Ruchee Anand from LinkedIns Talent and Learning Solutions division in India warns that mere adoption of AI tools is insufficient on its own to yield results Companies need to focus on having the appropriate skill sets within their workforce to fully leverage the potential of AI; otherwise they run the risk of squandering an opportunity, for transformation.
As the use of AI continues to grow in industries 84% of companies consider enhancing skills a key focus, for 2025. Companies are dedicating resources to train their workforce in AI and interpersonal skills like teamwork and effective communication. Despite the growing excitement, around embracing AI technology in workplaces today the persistent issue of talent shortages continues to pose an obstacle. According to a report 54 % of HR professionals are facing challenges in locating candidates who possess all the qualifications often receiving applications from individuals who do not fit the job requirements. As a result there has been a shift in recruitment approaches with over half of HR professionals focusing on applicants who fulfill at 80 % of the job criteria highlighting a preference for quality, over quantity.
