Amazon India has announced a major investment of Rs 2,000 crore for 2025 to enhance its operations across the country. The e-commerce giant plans to enhance its delivery network by expanding and improving its sortation and delivery facilities throughout all serviceable pin codes in India.
The substantial investment enables Amazon India to accelerate delivery times and boost operational performance while providing better working conditions for staff members and delivery partners. The company implements energy-efficient technology and inclusive infrastructure through its ‘Ashray’ rest points and financial literacy program ‘Samridhi’ at its facilities.
Amazon India positions itself as a market leader because of the growing digital-first population and booming e-commerce market in India. The company plans to optimize delivery routes while enhancing navigation systems and distributing workloads fairly to create an improved user experience on the driver app.
The company plans to provide free health check-ups to more than 80,000 delivery associates and partners by the end of 2025. Amazon India uses this strategic funding to improve logistics operations while dedicating itself to sustainable growth and safety measures and inclusive development.
