Bandhan Bank has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Air Force to offer corporate salary accounts to its personnel. The initiative aims to offer exclusive banking benefits to Air Force employees, enhancing their financial security and convenience.
Bandhan Bank Shaurya Salary Account will provide zero balance savings accounts, financial protection for personnel and their families, and competitive interest rates under this agreement. The bank stated its dedication to the nation’s defence forces by providing a superior banking experience.
Rajinder Babbar, Executive Director and Chief Business Officer of Bandhan Bank, expressed enthusiasm about strengthening ties with the Indian Air Force. He mentioned the bank’s pan-India presence and its focus on offering specialized financial services for defence personnel.
Bandhan Bank has received RBI authorization to operate as an agency bank which enables it to collect taxes for CBDT and distribute central civil and railway pensions.
Bandhan Bank operates 6,300 banking outlets across the country while managing a total business of ₹2.73 lakh crore as it extends its financial services to defence and government employees.
