Google extends its lease for an 8.7 lakh sq ft office space in Bengaluru for five more years at a rental price of ₹90 crore annually. The lease documents obtained from Propstack show that Google will pay ₹7.5 crore each month for its prime property situated in Bagmane Capital Business Park.
The renewed lease agreement spans across two buildings Kyoto East Tower and Kyoto West Tower which are situated near Google Ananta the fourth and largest Indian campus of Google and can accommodate 5,000 employees.
Google extended its lease for 4.52 lakh sq ft in Kyoto East Tower at ₹3.9 crore monthly (₹86.25 per sq ft) while providing a security deposit of ₹20.32 crore. The company acquired 4.2 lakh sq ft in Kyoto West Tower at ₹3.6 crore monthly with the same rate while paying ₹18.12 crore as a deposit.
The authorities recorded this transaction through official documentation in April 2025. The extended lease period demonstrates Google’s enduring faith in Bengaluru as its primary Indian operations base while it maintains its strategic investments in national technology infrastructure and workforce development.
