Hero MotoCorp operated four manufacturing facilities without production from April 17 through April 19 in 2025 to synchronize supply and perform scheduled maintenance. The production halt impacts operations at Dharuhera, Gurugram, Haridwar and Neemrana facilities.
The company declared that the short stoppage would serve to perform vital maintenance work and update facilities and enhance operational efficiency. The manufacturing operations will start again on April 21 to avoid significant production delays.
The Tirupati and Halol plants operated by Hero MotoCorp will continue their normal operations throughout this time to preserve supply chain stability. The company guaranteed stakeholders that the manufacturing stoppage would not affect its ability to fulfill retail orders across domestic and international markets.
Hero MotoCorp announced that the short-term production delay will be made up during the following month to avoid any manufacturing interruption. The company maintains its position as market leader in two-wheeler production through its nine million unit annual capacity while selling 54 lakh units during the previous year.
Hero MotoCorp shares dropped 2.46% after the announcement as they traded at ₹3,689.35 on the BSE.
