Mahindra & Mahindra achieved a significant 26% increase in total vehicle sales throughout July 2025 with 83,691 units sold compared to 66,444 units in July 2024. The company achieved this growth mainly through rising demand for utility vehicles and tractors. The domestic SUV market reached 49,871 units during July 2024 as the XUV 3XO ‘REVX’ Series and BE 6 and XEV 9E models entered the market.
The CEO of Mahindra’s Automotive Division Nalinikanth Gollagunta attributed the improved SUV performance to new product releases and efficient delivery schedules. The tractor business of Mahindra maintained a 5% increase in domestic sales during July when it sold 26,990 units compared to 25,587 units in the previous year.
Veejay Nakra who leads the Farm Equipment Division at Mahindra stated that tractor sales benefited from strong rural cash flows after the Rabi harvest and positive monsoon conditions which increased Kharif season sowing activities. The total tractor sales including export reached 28,708 units while export sales increased by 6% to 1,718 units.
The company’s steady performance across all market segments demonstrates its dominant position in both urban and rural areas because customers maintain trust in its products.
