Myntra is recruiting more than 11000 people through its partners ahead of its flagship Big Fashion Festival Sale. The new positions include logistics, customer service and last mile delivery so that all the work can be done properly during the festive days.
The main highlight of this recruitment drive of Myntra is the inclusion of women for warehouse work in which more than 30% of the working women are employees. These roles include sorting, grading and packing in Myntra’s fulfillment centers located in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. The company says that this will give thousands of people an opportunity to earn more money during the festivals.
Myntra’s Chief Human Resources Officer Govind Raj M emphasized that the seasonal workforce is very important to ensure timely delivery and seamless customer experience in India.
Myntra’s upcoming sale will offer over 40 lakh styles from over 10,000 brands to Myntra’s 70 million monthly active users, further strengthening its leadership position in India’s festive fashion retail market.
