In a field like film, where connections and relationships keep things going, hustle is a really useful skill. Over the years, actor Chunky Panday has persevered in staying relevant despite experiencing both the terrifying lows of failure and the exhilarating highs of triumph. Chunky is a star in his own right, even though he now identifies himself as Bhavana Panday’s husband and Ananya Panday’s father. He talked candidly about many facets of his profession in an interview with Curly Tales.
In 1987, I made my debut. Govinda began in 86. Salman, Shah Rukh, and Aamir first appeared in 1988, 1989, and 1990. We also saw Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn debut in later years. Therefore, my honeymoon period lasted just a year,” Chunky said, pragmatically stating that he was performing a musical chair of multi-starters but was without a chair after the music ended.
Chunky Panday recounted an event that occurred at a wedding as he reflected on how he became inspired to resume his career in Hindi movies. A little youngster approached me and inquired whether I was a hero. I advised him to inquire about me with his mother. However, I later realised that my films needed to win that child over. I wanted kids to like me. That’s why I did movies like Housefull and others,” Chunky added, adding that he loves this stage of his acting career and restating that he has no regrets. “My journey has been incredibly enjoyable.”
Chunky focused on his decisions in his early acting career, saying, “I hadn’t seen so much money.” You used to brag about how many movies you were working on at those times. I was unaware of the need to slow down. I had no idea how to make the right decision. Additionally, the others were more astute in their casting choices and film release schedules. Chunky mentioned that a generation was unaware of him when he talked about resuming his profession after returning from Bangladesh, where he briefly became a superstar in their business.
According to Bhavana Panday, partnerships are useful in certain situations. We advise Ananya to keep up relationships even if success may come and go. Be courteous and pleasant. It will eventually find its way back to you. Because Chunky was kind to everyone, he got his second inning. “If you were awful before, no one is giving you another chance when you are at your lowest,” Bhavana stated.
Speaking from the perspective of an actor who has had to start again from the beginning, Chunky Panday stated that it’s critical to let go of one’s ego. Actors ought to be unafraid. You ought not to be very self-conscious,” Chunky said. Regarding going through a financial crisis due to his career’s ups and downs, Bhavana remarked, “He never made us feel it.” Naturally, we were surrounded by others who were doing better and had nicer possessions. However, we were content and at ease.
However, the trailblazer Chunky said that he had experienced an economic “crisis” at one of his worst periods before marrying Bhavana. A real estate transaction in 1996 tied up a portion of my funds. I didn’t even have enough money to buy booze for the party I was throwing. Bhavana’s reply quickly offset Chunky’s cocky smirk, “I had to call my friend and ask for help.” “I’m glad you didn’t have enough cash to purchase alcohol.” Regarding his career, Chunky Panday most recently starred in Anupam Kher’s Vijay 69. He will soon be featured in the much anticipated Housefull 5 by Sajid Nadiadwala.
