The upcoming AI tools from Meta will eliminate the need for advertising agencies so brands including small businesses with restricted budgets can maintain full control. The AI ad creation system will produce targeted marketing campaigns through precise geolocation-based personalization after receiving product images and marketing budget information.
The market has already experienced changes because of Meta’s announced ambitions even though the company states traditional agencies will continue to exist. Major marketing firms WPP and Publicis Groupe experienced share price declines following the announcement. According to Meta agencies will maintain their position in cross-platform strategy development and creative work but automation will control most of the ad-building operations.
