Forbes has released its list of the world’s richest billionaires and Elon Musk is at the top of the list. Musk’s net worth has risen to $342 billion as SpaceX and xAI have had a great year. Tesla is still in a better position than last year despite the stock market volatility and protests.
Musk took back the title of the world’s richest person from Bernard Arnault of LVMH and now leads by $126 billion over the second richest billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg of Meta with a fortune of $216 billion.
The former US President Donald Trump increased his wealth to $5.1 billion from $2.3 billion during this period. Trump Media & Technology Group went public while he entered the cryptocurrency market successfully which led to his financial growth.
The United States holds the most billionaires of any nation with 902 individuals followed by China with 516 and India with 205.
The third position in the ranking belongs to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos who possesses $215 billion while Oracle leader Larry Ellison holds the fourth spot with $192 billion. The luxury empire share performance resulted in Bernard Arnault slipping to fifth place with $178 billion which represents his lowest ranking since 2017.
