Contestant Nareshi Meena moved megastar Amitabh Bachchan to tears on a recent Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 show when she told him about her medical condition. Naresh disclosed in the episode that she had undergone surgery to remove a brain tumour, however, the tumour’s intricate location prevented its total removal. She continued by saying that she needed to get proton therapy, a costly procedure, to address her disease, and that’s why she was on the show to earn money for it. When Amitabh heard this, he pledged to cover the cost of her medical care. After winning Rs 50 lakh on the show, Nareshi’s life took a drastic turn.
“His team has reached out to me,” she declared. They requested that I choose the physician and facility where I would like to receive my therapy. He is going to send the money directly to the hospital. I only need to speak with them, he added, adding that they will spend as much money as required. I shall receive my winnings of Rs 50 lakh, and Big B sir will foot the bill for my medical care.
Nareshi Meena said that her time on KBC 16 was a dream come true, saying, “KBC made it possible for me to meet Big B and have a conversation with him.” These are my greatest life experiences. Now, people approach me and compliment me on how well I performed on the show. During my time at KBC, I closed a lot of doors. My self-assurance increased as well.
Nareshi says she’s glad she was able to give her mother the jewellery she sold to pay for her medical care, and she also says she gave her aunt gold earrings as soon as he got back from the performance. “I’m thrilled that I can produce the jewellery my mother sold to pay for my medical care. I’m glad I helped them gain some notoriety. They have had great happiness. I’ve received congratulations from people. Upon my arrival back home, my entire community threw a welcome celebration.
Nareshi Meena wants to see Paresh Rawal and Nana Patekar someday now that she’s met Amitabh Bachchan. She declares, “I am a big fan of them.” When queried about her plans for using the prize money following her creation of her mother’s necklace, Naresh replied, “I’m not sure, but I want to build my home.” That cannot be verified, though, as I also need to be married.
Nareshi also disclosed that she has been attempting to appear on KBC since 2017, and that even though she passed several auditions, it took her seven years to be on the show. Her family was overjoyed when she was eventually put on trial. They were all quite thrilled since none of them had ever imagined that I would be there. I kept this a secret from everyone until the KBC crew arrived to film. Finally, Nareshi, a resident of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, expressed her happiness at not being a burden to anyone despite her health issues.
