For the first time, such a grand Chhath Puja festival was organized for the North Indian community, featuring Mata Ki Chowki and cultural programs attended by nearly 15,000 devotees and supporters, who gathered with deep faith and enthusiasm.
The event was initiated by Deputy Division Head Mangesh Pangare, under the guidance of North Mumbai Lok Sabha Chief and local MLA Prakash Surve. Onstage, distinguished students and social workers from the community were specially honored by Pangare himself—an inspiring moment symbolizing new confidence among North Indians.
