A Grand Celebration of the North Indian Community Led by Mangesh Pangare

In Dahisar (West), Mumbai’s Ward No. 04 witnessed a historic event on Sunday, November 2. For the first time, such a grand Chhath Puja festival was organized for the North Indian community, featuring Mata Ki Chowki and cultural programs attended by nearly 15,000 devotees and supporters, who gathered with deep faith and enthusiasm.

The event was initiated by Deputy Division Head Mangesh Pangare, under the guidance of North Mumbai Lok Sabha Chief and local MLA Prakash Surve. Onstage, distinguished students and social workers from the community were specially honored by Pangare himself—an inspiring moment symbolizing new confidence among North Indians.

Mangesh Bhau Pangare said, “This is not just a worship ceremony but a festival of unity, tradition, and pride. Dahisar has shown that when society stands together, no dream remains unfulfilled.” His words filled the crowd with emotion and pride.

The Mata Ki Chowki and cultural events made the evening vibrant, followed by a grand bhandara where thousands enjoyed prasad. Excellent management and arrangements earned wide praise for Pangare and his team. Residents said, “We have never seen such a large North Indian event here before. Mangesh Pangare has truly united our community.”

Mangesh Pangare Creates History—Mumbai Hosts its First Grand Bhakti Festival for the North Indian Community

The Chhath Puja Mahotsav 2025, held on Sunday, November 2, in Dahisar (West), made history—celebrating North Indian heritage with unmatched grandeur. The event, organized by Deputy Division Head Mangesh Pangare under the guidance of MLA Prakash Surve, drew nearly 15,000 people, marking one of the largest community gatherings ever held in the area.

Mangesh Bhau Pangare stated, “Maharashtra’s culture has always taught us to respect every community. We practice ‘Sarva Dharma Sambhav’—equality of all faiths. Mumbai’s identity lies in its hardworking people, and the North Indian community has strengthened that spirit with its values.”

The event at S.M. Mill Ground featured devotional songs, cultural performances, and a grand bhandara, symbolizing harmony between Maharashtra’s inclusiveness and North Indian devotion.

Locals remarked, “For the first time, someone has organized such a respectful and large-scale event for North Indians. It’s a festival of unity that connects hearts across Mumbai.”

Through this step, Mangesh Bhau Pangare sent a message that Maharashtra is not just a place—it’s a home for every hardworking individual.

Growing Presence of Mangesh Pangare Under Prakash Surve’s Guidance — A Hint of Upcoming Municipal Polls?

Following the grand Chhath Puja festival, political discussions have intensified in Mumbai’s Dahisar. The celebration led by Deputy Division Head Mangesh Pangare—under the mentorship of North Mumbai Lok Sabha Chief and MLA Prakash Surve—drew around 15,000 attendees, who came to show their support and faith in his leadership.

Local citizens noted that Mangesh Bhau Pangare’s ability to mobilize such a massive crowd shows his growing public influence. Political analysts suggest that, under Prakash Surve’s guidance, this rising activity could signal early preparation for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.

Known for his popularity, organizational skills, and dedication to community service, Pangare has emerged as a strong and trusted figure in Dahisar’s political landscape.

He remarked, “Prakash Dada is my guide. With his inspiration, I serve people across all sections of society. If the public wants it, I will definitely become their voice.”
