The fixed deposit interest rates at Punjab National Bank (PNB), Kotak Mahindra Bank and DCB Bank have been raised across various time periods. The new FD interest rate structures became effective on May 14, 2025 for PNB and Kotak and on May 7 for DCB as part of their second interest rate revision this May.
PNB offers fixed deposit interest rates ranging from 3.50% to 7% for public customers with the highest 7% rate available for 390 days. The interest rates for senior citizens range from 4.00% to 7.50% and super senior citizens receive rates from 4.30% to 7.80%.
Kotak Mahindra Bank has modified its interest rates to 2.75% to 7.10% for regular customers but senior citizens can achieve up to 7.60%. The highest interest rate becomes available when customers deposit funds for 391 days up to 23 months.
DCB Bank now provides the highest FD interest rate of 8.25% to senior citizens who invest for 15 to 16 months thus creating an attractive option for risk-averse investors.
