The Tamilnadu Congress committee President K. S. Alagiri raised question over Prime Minister Modi alleging that that PM Modi is afraid of Rahul Gandhi and that’s why he is trying to put charges and different cases on rahul gandhi to defame him and send Rahul Gandhi to jail. This is strategy to not allow any opponent to stand in the elections of 2024.Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K. S. Alagiri on Saturday said the PM Narendra Modi-led government was trying to come back to power through the backdoor, as the BJP was not confident about facing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the 2024 Parliamentary elections.

Is this how the Congress party swallowed many lakhs of crores? BJP Narayanan’s response to KS Alagiri! BJP state vice-president Narayanan Tirupati has said that KS Azhagiri has given a confession that he was involved in corruption by increasing the project estimate several times during the Congress regime. Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President KS Azhagiri criticized that the central BJP government is working in favor of the northern states and against the southern states in the railway projects. BJP is trying to capture power through backdoor channels as it is afraid to face Congress in coming 2024 polls.

In response to this, BJP State Vice President Narayanan Tirupathi posted on Twitter, “The Rameswaram-Dhanushkodi railway project was launched in 2006-07 and the funding requirement of Rs 11400 crore was announced, only Rs 211 crore was allocated in 2020 and Rs 1000 crore in 2023-24. Congress party leader KS Alagiri has also said that it has been reserved. Social media was flooded by number of tweets by BJP leaders and other party leaders.

Speaking to media persons after hoisting the party flag in the presence of Sholingur MLA A. M. Munirathinam, in Mamandur village near Arakkonam town to commemorate Mr. Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Mr. Alagiri addressed a question about Mr. Gandhi’s unsuccessful attempt to stay his conviction and two-year sentence in a defamation case at the Gujarat High Court.

Mr. Alagiri’s response to the question reflected his perspective on the situation. He began by acknowledging Mr. Gandhi’s efforts to challenge the conviction and sentence in the defamation case. He expressed his understanding of the importance of defending one’s reputation and the right to seek legal remedies available in such circumstances.

Furthermore, Mr. Alagiri emphasized that legal battles can be unpredictable, and even high-profile individuals like Mr. Gandhi face challenges within the judicial system. He pointed out that the outcome of a legal case does not always align with one’s expectations or desires, as it ultimately depends on various factors, including the interpretation of the law and the evidence presented.

As the days are passing and election is coming near by, verbal fight between the political parties are at its peak. No party wants to any stone unturned. All the old issues matters weather its personal or political is being dragged to justify own statement. It’s quite interesting to wait and see what impact these statements are going to make in the upcoming elections in 2024.
