Coastal Corporation has approved a massive stock split that will reduce the share price from ₹10 per share to ₹2 per share. This stock split is to take effect on March 4, which means any person who owns the stock at this time will be entitled to the split. In the same manner, Mangalam Global Enterprise also plans to split its shares, with the new share price being ₹1 from the previous ₹2 per share, to take effect from March 4. Among the most expected corporate events is the bonus share issue by Anand Rathi Wealth that is to start trading on March 5, 2025. This means that each shareholder will receive one new share for every share that they own currently, and this may open up some interesting positions for those who own the stock before the ex-date. Apart from that, Metro Brands has also declared an interim dividend of ₹3 per share and a special dividend of ₹14.50 per share, and the company has fixed March 7 as the record date for the dividend payment. These corporate actions are expected to increase the trading volume and volatility in these stocks, which can be attractive or risky for investors. The ex-date is important for investors planning to take advantage of these corporate actions in the week that has been scheduled. It is important to understand that only shareholders as of the ex-date will be entitled to dividends, bonus shares or stock splits. Therefore, the market participants should remain paying attention to these dates so that they do not miss the benefits.
