Bill Gates made a stunning accusation against Elon Musk by stating that he is responsible for the deaths of children after USAID suddenly ceased operations. Gates accused Musk of causing worldwide disaster through his extreme cost reduction because essential food and medical supplies are now spoiling in storage facilities. Gates who intends to close his foundation by 2045 described Musk’s actions as both ignorant and catastrophic because he believes diseases like polio and HIV and measles will now cause deadly resurgences.
The controversy started when Musk as a senior Trump administration adviser shut down USAID through his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The agency received his previous designation as a criminal organization. Gates strongly opposed this decision because essential grants to the hospital in Mozambique’s Gaza Province were terminated which halted HIV prevention services for pregnant women. The reason? A mistaken belief that funds were going to Hamas.
Gates expressed his desire for Musk to witness the HIV-infected children personally.
